Fly on the Wall developing reno series centered on “Goonies” house
Unscripted production company Fly on the Wall Entertainment is developing and producing a home-renovation TV series centered around the house from the iconic 1985 adventure film The Goonies.
Fly on the Wall announced on Wednesday (March 29) that it had entered into an exclusive agreement with Goonies superfan Behman Zakeri, who made headlines earlier this year when he bought the Victorian-style home in Astoria, Oregon that served as the location for the film. Zakeri will serve as an executive producer on the project.
Fly on the Wall Entertainment is known for such unscripted series as the long-running Big Brother and the recent reality baking show Crime Scene Kitchen. The production company is currently exploring potential network partners for the new series.
